What You Receive

Each selected magnetic catch pair includes:

• 2 × magnetic catches, one for each door sash
• 2 × fixing packs
• Sash rivet nuts and catch bolts
• Alternative self-drilling screw fixings
• 2 × anti-rotation grub screws

The total contents supplied will depend on the pack quantity selected.

Technical Information

Installation

The catches can be secured to aluminium door sashes using the supplied rivet nuts and M5 catch bolts. Alternatively, the supplied self-drilling screws may be used where appropriate.

Position one catch on each corresponding door sash so that the magnetic faces align correctly when the bifold doors are fully open. Tighten the anti-rotation grub screws to help prevent the catches from turning around their central fixings.

Always confirm that the selected fixings are suitable for your particular door material and profile before installation.

How It Works

When the bifold doors are opened, the two magnetic catches meet and hold the panels securely together. To close the doors, simply pull the panels apart to release the magnetic connection.
